My client is a growing company in the defence sector and they're currently looking for a test engineer with experience of both Manual and Automated testing.
You'll be working closely with their Project Engineers developing test strategies for both new and existing systems raising detailed Incident reports to assist their development teams to diagnose and resolve issues.
You should have a solid understanding of Jira and Confluence coupled with some understanding of C++.
Knowledge of any of the following would be useful
Sound understanding of engineering standards such as ISO-12207 (Software Life Cycle), ISO-1012 (Software V&V), EIA-632 (System Engineering) and EIA-649 (Config Management).
Sound working knowledge of both Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Excellent analytical/problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with the requirements of Defence projects and eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance to SECRET.
