My client is a local Australian company who are part of a global defence organisation. They’re currently looking for an experienced Test Team lead to manage and mentor a small team ( 1xSnr Test Engineer and 1xTest Engineer) and work closely with other internal and external teams to plan testing strategies for both new and existing products Duties
Author, maintain and review project and product related testing documentation.
Provide guidance on - and support the integration of - testing functions across the company
Provide testing support for the preparation and review of proposals, offers and bids.
Develop systems and processes to anticipate and deliver future testing programs,
Skills & experience
5+ years in a suitable hands-on system testing role.
Sound understanding of engineering standards such as ISO-12207, ISO-1012, EIA-632 and EIA-649.
Proven experience in the generation of testing plans and procedures.
Ability to lead a team within a small, fast-paced development environment.
Commercial experience with Git, Jira and DOORS
Because the role is defence related you MUST be an Australian Citizen and either have – or be capable of getting – security clearance. They have small closely knit teams and a supportive friendly culture where they offer a hybrid working environment.
