You’ll be working with one of the largest federal government clients in 2 Program & Administration Support Officers to provide administrative and coordination support for ICT procurement and contract management activities.
The role supports a central ICT strategy and investment function and contributes to the effective management of complex and high‑value ICT contracts.
The successful candidate(s) will work collaboratively within a procurement and contract management team to deliver high‑quality, compliant, and timely outcomes aligned with organisational priorities and Australian Government requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Work as part of a procurement and contract management team to support the delivery of ICT contract management and procurement services
Undertake ICT procurement and contract management administrative activities, including:
Invoice review and tracking from approval through to payment
Records and correspondence management
Reporting and data collation
Scheduling and supporting meetings
Develop and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
Provide high‑quality written and verbal communication and demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills
Assist contract managers to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to support day‑to‑day contract management activities in a manner that aligns with organisational priorities and complies with applicable legislation, regulations, policies, and guidelines (e.g. PGPA Act, Commonwealth Procurement Rules).
Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to contract managers, including:
Electronic records management (creation, filing, and maintenance)
Creation and maintenance of registers
Invoice tracking and coordination through to payment
Central mailbox management
Recording meeting minutes where required
Sound working knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Australian Government procurement policy frameworks.
Experience assisting with drafting and maintaining procurement and contract documentation, including tenders, panels, contracts, and statutory reporting.
Ability to collate contract management data and produce basic analysis and reports.
Well‑developed communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated experience in contract management support and administration within Australian Government environments.
