Client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operation / Horticulturist to join our Client’s team based at the Alexandra Canal Depot. You’ll be part of a motivated team working to keep Sydney’s parks and open spaces vibrant, clean, and welcoming for the community.
Key Responsibilities
Hand weeding, hedging, mowing and brush cutting/whipper snippering
Weed spraying, mulching, planting and laying turf
Pruning shrubs and maintaining garden beds
Daily playground inspections
Litter collection and general grounds upkeep
You’ll start and finish your day at the Alexandra Canal Depot, with opportunities to work with different crews and across various park locations.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience
Experience using mobile devices – staff use iPads and the Confirm Connect program to record daily work and upload photos
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Pre-Employment Checks
National Police Check
Two employment references
Drug and alcohol screening may be conducted during employment
