My client is a growing product development company in the consumer electronics industry.

They're currently looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer who also has proven Team Leadership experience and who will be responsible for driving innovation and quality in electronics design throughout the full product development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities in leading and supporting the electronics design team are:
  • Acting as a product lead and subject matter expert, guiding clients and project teams.
  • Ensuring that quality standards are met in line with the company’s quality management system
  • Performing effective estimation, project resource allocation, forecasting and recruitment for the hardware team
  • Performing technical reviews and approvals for hardware designs
  • Acting as first escalation to clients and project managers for any electronics design related matters
  • Maintaining and improving hardware design processes, procedures, systems and documentation
  • Facilitating training and staff development for the hardware team
Minimum Criteria
  • You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Have experience designing both analog and digital electronics
  • Be experienced in the design of electronic products from concept to manufacture
  • Be proficient in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout
