My client is seeking an experienced Service Assurance Specialist to join our team in Sydney. This is a great opportunity to lead IT service delivery and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery and monitoring of portfolio services, ensuring service availability targets are met.
- Manage expectations and requirements for service delivery.
- Capture, analyze, assess, and prioritize new service delivery initiatives.
- Coordinate the delivery of services to meet quality standards.
- Implement a standardized process for operational demand, performance discussions, and service transitions.
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by assessing expectations, addressing gaps, and influencing perceptions of service quality.
- Manage communication during high-impact incidents, providing updates and resolving issues.
- Provide input on incidents, changes, or projects that may affect services.
- Ensure adherence to the IT process framework and governance model.
- Serve as the escalation point for service-related issues.
- Oversee service performance, quality, and stability, with problem management for all critical incidents.
- Manage the transition of new services into Business As Usual (BAU).
Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Service Delivery and Support.
- Proven track record in managing customer relationships and driving outcomes.
- Experience in the project life cycle and transitioning services to BAU.
- Strong expertise in problem management.
- Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Skilled in risk mitigation and decision-making.
- Relevant formal qualifications and certifications in IT service management.
