Senior Scrum Master position for a leading, global company that pioneers innovation and technology within the ASX listed retail sector. In collaboration with the Product Manager and the development team, as a scrum master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the delivery of complex digital solutions and products for worldwide customers.

This position would suit a scrum master who has worked within larger enterprises with thousands of employees, and if you have managed multiple scrum teams that would be perfect.

The salary for this role has been left open to be discussed in relation to each individual. Depending on seniority it would be between $140-$170k (room for more if a good fit) so we would be happy to discuss a number that aligns with your expectations.

This is a pure scrum master role with a focus on delivering projects more efficiently and into production faster.

As a Senior Scrum master, your role will be to empower, lead, and coach teams to be successful, self-organizing and adaptable to change. You would be responsible for keeping the team moving, and continuously reporting on developments, celebrating successes, and defining, understanding, and resolving roadblocks.

Ideal experience:
  • Liaise with external vendors and partners to ensure a common understanding of business requirements.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate team reporting and data metrics such as burnup & burndown charts, etc.
  • Responsible for Agile processes and improvement within the team.
  • Understanding of agile frameworks – Lean, Kanban, Scrum
  • People leadership skills, particularly in guiding effective team behaviours.
  • Ability to set clear and unambiguous performance expectations for team members.
  • Excellent skills in leading a team including coaching, and having difficult conversations and providing feedback.
