My client is a rapidly growing company in the consumer electronics space, they’re currently looking for an engineer with proven commercial experience of RF electronics and antenna design.
  
To be successful you should be educated to tertiary level in Electronic Engineering and have commercial experience designing electronics system hardware and embedded software, from concept, prototyping to final design for mass production.
  
In addition to the above you should also have an understanding of how the role integrates with software design, mechanical design and systems engineering activities, this will involve collaboration with other internal teams working on product development. 
  
In addition any of the following would be useful:
  
  • Develop and test and troubleshoot RF circuits and components.
  • Design and tune antennas to optimize performance.
  • Create and refine PCB layouts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems into products.
  • Generate high quality design documentation for internal and external use.
  • Knowledge of Altium
