Looking for an Infrastructure Architect with network, edge server, and storage experience for a large well-known Australian organisation.

Role and responsibilities:

You will be primarily responsible for understanding the business requirements and infrastructure designing that complies with the organisation’s infrastructure, cyber security and network connectivity standards. This includes designing and implementing network architecture, server edge infrastructure, and mobile solutions.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the of team of architects and engineers and be responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.  

Technical Requirements:
  • Design network architecture, edge server infrastructure, and storage solutions for the organisation.
  • Ensure the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.
  • Work with the business to understand their requirements and design solutions that leverage the existing patterns and infrastructure.
  • Work with vendors and third parties to procure and implement infrastructure solutions.
Looking For:
  • In-depth knowledge of network architecture, edge server infrastructure, mobility and storage solutions.
  • Experience with designing and implementing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with working in a DevOps environment.
  • External and Internal Stakeholder Management 
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies.
  • Disciplined approach to document creation and review.
