The Role:
You will be primarily responsible for understanding the business requirements and designing in store infrastructure that complies with the organisation’s infrastructure, cyber security and network connectivity standards. This includes designing and implementing network architecture, server edge infrastructure, and mobile solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to their of team of architects and engineers.
  
  • Design network architecture, edge server infrastructure, and storage solutions for our stores.
  • Ensure their infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.
  • Work the business to understand their requirements and design solutions that leverage the existing patterns and infrastructure.
  • Work with vendors and third parties to procure and implement infrastructure solutions.

Looking For:
  • In-depth knowledge of network architecture, edge server infrastructure, mobility and storage solutions.
  • Experience with designing and implementing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with working in a DevOps environment.
  • External and Internal Stakeholder Management 
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies.
  • Disciplined approach to document creation and review.

This is a 6 month initial contract with a high likelihood of extension!
