The Infrastructure Architect will have experience in one or more of the following industries: ● Retail ● Banking ● Financial services ● Logistics / Supply Chain
The Infrastructure Architect should demonstrate : ● Problem solving skills and experience ● Project management experience ● Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions ● Knowledge of client-server networking and database management ● Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction from and infrastructure perspective ● Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences ● Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies ● Design and architecture of complex infrastructure projects in large distributed environments
Highly desirable additional skills and experience ● A minimum of 5 years experience working as an infrastructure architect. ● Design and architecture of Public Private and Hybrid Cloud solutions (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS) ● Experience architecting solutions via major Public cloud providers preferably Azure and Google Cloud Platform. ● Extensive architecture experience in the design and deployment of large centralized and distributed applications from an infrastructure perspective. ● Understanding of networking in large enterprise environments ● Design and architecture of solutions in large distributed environments ie support/regional offices, distribution centres, stores/branches ● Experience in architecture and design using virtualisation technologies in large centralized and distributed environments ● Experience working within agile and waterfall project constructs
