Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Brisbane Contract Duration: 10 Months
About the Role:
Exciting opportunity with one of our government clients in Queensland! Join a dynamic ICT Digital Solutions team supporting a large-scale transformation program. Work alongside an experienced Data Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions systems and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, and SQL.
Design data models and ensure high data quality and system performance.
Support data transitions from project to BAU operations.
Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to meet reporting and analytics needs.
Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for streamlined deployments.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years' experience in data engineering (Azure Synapse, SQL, SSIS, SSRS).
Strong SQL, data modelling, and data pipeline development skills.
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and large data sets.
Azure Data Engineer certification preferred.
