My client is an international company delivering leading edge 4G/5G, Wireless, IoT and M2M systems and due to consistent growth they’re currently looking for a Software Engineering Manager to mentor and lead a team of experienced engineers here in Sydney
  
In addition to leading the team you’ll also have responsibility for growing the team too so managing the hiring of new members will be in your remit.
  
The development team doesn’t operate in isolation so you’ll also be required to consult with relevant stakeholders within the business to proactively identify and implement enhancements into the product development program.
  
To be successful you should have solid hands on experience of wireless technologies - GPON, ADSL, VDSL2, HFC, 3G, 4G LTE, etc. coupled with a significant software development background in a variety of languages - C/C++, Lua, Shell, Python, JS, etc
  
Knowledge of cellular networks, electronics and embedded systems (particularly embedded Linux) would be really useful.
