About the team
You’ll join a multidisciplinary delivery team responsible for the ongoing support and evolution of a mission‑critical document management system. The team includes agency engagement specialists, business analysts, developers, testers, a project manager, and a dedicated support function.
Collaboration is key here, quality is a shared responsibility, and your input will directly shape how the system evolves through regular releases and upgrades.
What you will do
This role sits at the heart of quality delivery for a large, business‑critical document management platform used across government. As a Test Analyst, you’ll work hands‑on within Agile teams to make sure complex workflows, integrations, and user journeys work exactly as intended.
Own end‑to‑end testing across system, integration, regression, user acceptance, and non‑functional testing.
Embed testing early in delivery, working sprint‑by‑sprint to support reliable releases.
Create and maintain clear, practical test artefacts that support sprint goals and release outcomes.
Act as a trusted voice for quality, giving advice on testing approaches, risks, and defects.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product team members to troubleshoot issues and drive timely fixes.
Support accessibility, usability, security, and data integrity outcomes, not just functional correctness.
Mentor junior testers and help build a shared sense of ownership for quality within Agile teams.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, share insights, and help improve how testing is done across the team.
Technologies you will work with
You won’t just test the “happy path.” The system supports complex document workflows at scale, which means exposure to:
Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and team collaboration
Web‑based enterprise applications with complex business processes
Backend services, integrations, and data validation
Accessibility tools and assistive technologies such as screen readers
Reporting and search functionality across large datasets
You should have
We’re looking for someone who’s confident, practical, and comfortable operating in complex environments. You’ll bring:
5+ years’ experience in a testing role, ideally within enterprise or government environments
Proven experience testing large‑scale, complex IT systems
Strong experience creating, reviewing, and executing test cases and test scripts
Hands‑on experience with Agile delivery, including sprint‑based testing and continuous quality assurance
Solid understanding of defect management, risk identification, and quality reporting
Experience coordinating and supporting user acceptance testing
Knowledge of WCAG and experience conducting web accessibility testing
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Confidence mentoring junior testers and promoting consistent testing standards
Nice to have
While not essential, the following will help you hit the ground running:
Experience with test automation, including supporting or maintaining automated test suites
Exposure to usability testing and user‑centred design practices
Experience working in environments with security, compliance, or assurance requirements
Familiarity testing systems that manage high‑volume document workflows or approvals
If you’re interested in applying, please submit your application today. The role closes on 22/05/2026 before 05:00 pm, don’t miss out!
