We’re looking for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join a high-impact digital delivery team within a large, complex organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology, translating ideas into scalable, compliant solutions.
What You Will Do
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear technical specifications and system designs
Perform impact assessments across systems, present solution options, and recommend the best path forward
Design and support end-to-end integration solutions, ensuring alignment with architecture and compliance standards
Define and document data mapping, transformation, and enrichment rules
Develop canonical data models to standardise multiple data sources for seamless integration
Design API request/response structures and produce detailed API specifications
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems and data flows
Support implementation, testing, and deployment activities
Act as the key bridge between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
Contribute to delivering solutions that drive business outcomes and organisational transformation
Technologies You Will Work With
API design and integration frameworks (RESTful services, JSON/XML)
Data modelling and transformation tools
Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Agile delivery environments and frameworks
Enterprise system architectures and integration platforms
You Should Have
5+ years experience as a Systems Analyst in a digital or enterprise environment
Strong ability to translate complex business problems into technical solutions
Proven experience in:
Requirements gathering and analysis
Writing detailed technical specifications
Working across multiple systems and integrations
Demonstrated ability to:
Drive delivery outcomes and own project responsibilities
Analyse complex processes and recommend improvements
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Experience working in government or highly regulated environments
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business, legal, security, and service teams
Experience running workshops, user interviews, and surveys
Familiarity with business process analysis and performance optimisation
Experience in Agile delivery environments
Exposure to compliance-driven projects or secure systems
