My client is a global consumer electronics company who are looking for an additional iOS developer to join their Sydney team.
The role will be a mixture of new product development and maintenance of existing code - roughly a 70/30 split.
The applications team is a small one and distributed across Australia, Japan the UK and also the US so collaboration with overseas team members would be required.
What You Need to Be Successful
Swift and Objective-C experience
SwiftUI and UIKit experience
Good understanding of Xcode (Projects, Targets, Instruments, Simulator)
Good understanding of software design principals, patterns
Good understanding of version control systems (Git)
Experience using 3rd party software libraries and frameworks
Experience using web service APIs
Knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines
The above skills are core to the position however if you have any exposure to the following too that would be really useful - though is by no means essential
C++, Python
Dependency managers (Swift Packages, CocoaPods)
Build systems (xcodebuild, CMake)
Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Messaging)
Google Analytics (Big Query, Data Studio)
App localization and localization management tools (Lokalise)
App Store Connect (Publishing, Analytics, Ratings and reviews)
App code signing process
Cross platform development (Xamarin, Flutter, React Native)
