Our client is looking for an experienced Integration Architect to join a growing Technology team at a large, well-established Australian retail organisation currently undergoing a major enterprise systems transformation.
This is a genuine opportunity to shape how a large-scale business shares and moves data across its ecosystem. You'll design and document robust, scalable integration solutions that support a major data transition program working across batch and near-real-time integration patterns, and partnering closely with architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to bring designs to life.

What You'll Be Doing
Designing and documenting data-sharing integration solutions, with a focus on large-volume data transfers
Building scalable, resilient integration pipelines using both batch and near-real-time patterns
Making critical architectural decisions, weighing up trade-offs across performance, cost, and complexity
Embedding security, compliance, and best-practice standards into every design
Producing high-quality documentation — conceptual models, solution overviews, interface maps, and decision records
Contributing to design libraries and architecture playbooks to support reusability across the business
Supporting non-functional requirements such as availability, reliability, and response times
Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors/technology partners, and presenting complex designs clearly to varied audiences
What We're Looking For Essential:
Proven experience architecting and working with data integration tools (e.g. Informatica or similar platforms)
Strong understanding of data-sharing integration patterns, particularly for high-volume data
Experience designing solutions across integration methods such as File Share, API, AMQP, Kafka, and Webhooks
Exposure to supporting toolsets such as API Management, streaming, and storage
Ideally, hands-on experience building integration pipelines
Solid grounding in infrastructure and networking fundamentals
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
A collaborative, critical-thinking approach, able to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Desirable:
Experience working in agile, product-led delivery environments
Familiarity with architecture modelling tools (e.g. Ardoq)
