Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the ERP migration project by defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to create a detailed project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business units to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications. Ensure that these requirements align with the strategic goals of the organisation and are feasible within the scope of the ERP system.
- Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and workflows. Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to optimise business operations through the new ERP system.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with ERP vendors and implementation partners to ensure that the project is on track. Facilitate communication between the vendor and internal teams to address any issues or changes that arise.
- Change Management: Manage change control processes to handle any changes in project scope or requirements. Develop and implement change management strategies to support user adoption and minimize resistance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and project progress. Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues. Facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure alignment and buy-in throughout the migration process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years focused on ERP migration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with change management and user training in ERP implementations is highly desirable.
