Prepare your stories before you walk in the door.

The STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) is your best friend, but it only works if you've done the prep. Before any interview, research the organisation thoroughly so your examples land in context. Then make sure you have questions ready that show genuine curiosity and strategic thinking. And through all of it, let your personality come through. Skills get you the interview; authenticity gets you the offer.
